Why? It’s simple: our bodies are designed for movement. Muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments all prove it. When we stop moving, everything starts to feel tight—or even painful. That’s your body’s way of asking for what it needs.

Movement also supports a healthy heart, promotes better blood flow, helps manage inflammation and helps regulate our entire system. And when we combine movement with mindfulness and conscious breathing, something powerful happens: the nervous system rebalances, heart rate variability improves, and we feel calmer, more grounded, and more present.

I created Golden Yoga because the typical yoga classes out there weren’t meeting the unique needs of most people over 60. As we age, our bodies change—and health issues can surface. That doesn’t mean we stop moving; it means we move smarter.

I’m here to help you remain as healthy as possible, build strength, and enhance your well-being—both physically and mentally.

  • The 60-minute group sessions are thoughtfully designed to enhance balance, coordination, strength, mobility and help regulate the nervous system. Each class includes a blend physical poses, functional movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation.

    The principles of yoga, including movement, mindfulness, and breath awareness, are invaluable tools for boosting our overall health and vitality.

  • I offer classes in East Grinstead, Forest Row, Lewes and Felbridge. You can see the full class schedule here.

    It is highly recommended to book your spot as classes can get quite busy.

  • No prior yoga experience is necessary; the classes cater to a broad spectrum of abilities, allowing each participant to engage at a comfortable pace. Various modifications are provided throughout the session, ensuring everyone can opt to intensify or ease their practice as needed.

  • Golden Yoga approach involves a combination of seated and standing exercises, making it ideal for those who prefer not to transition to and from the floor.

  • There are two options for you.

    *Golden Yoga TV is a collection of pre-recorded 20-25min Golden Yoga classes that you can practice from the comfort of your home. Click here to find out more!

    *I also offer private sessions which are ideal if you prefer to take it at your own pace or if you’d like to focus on specific aspects of your health. Contact me to find out more.

  • Group classes drop-in rate ranges from £11 to £12 per class per person.
